All my Revolutas are coming indoors. I think even with Simba's protection methods they'd struggle here if we have a repeat of last winter. I might not be able to see the telly but they'll still be breathing next year. :lol: I'll be back for more tips near winter as i now have 18 plants to protect, ...

I've being gathering some more info on this boy today, and its by far the most hardy agarve on the market in the uk. I think i'm going for the big mother i saw so i can push the wife on it when she's nagging . Hopefully i can get it for close to £150. karl.kata wrote: Evil!!!

Was thinking of a Gazebo for a bit of weather protection come december onwards. anyone use this method to keep bad weather out of crown of the plants. karl.

we bought one,thought they were great vfm spoke with nick today, seems nice chap and knows his stuff. He's only got smallish ones for sale . My rostrata was left outside last winter planted in my arid bed with just a polythene sheet over it to keep it dry. Have you considered planting it out? Yes the rostrata and fax will be wrapped and covered with a waterproof unbrella, but there both bursting out of pots. i'm going to move them both into very large pots if its suitable. karl.musabasjoos wrote:karl, are you leaving it out over winter? If so i would leave it in the pot.

I have one of these about 4ft inc a fairly big, about 25litre i would say. Its really root bound and there coming out of side holes. Shall i repot this year or wait till say march. karl.
