The stumpery was to die for, but how many private gardens could accommodate one... not mine for sure.

Simon at Amulree sells them, I have both, so far so good unprotected this year.
I do grow them in a lot of gravel & potted though rather than letting them get waterlogged in the ground.

From my experience with seed, and I am no expert in lawns, just had dogs ruining it... the seed sits there and germinates when it rains.
I used to lob so much seed around and then one day, bingo it would sprout and be off again.
I expect I wasted quite a bit but we did get mission accomplished.

I had several boxes included at that price & the plants were of excellent quality.
If you wanted to say something negative, they were a bit on the large size, so if you are torn between 2 sizes err on the smaller.
