Hello from Norwich

Sounds like you have the bug. What plants do you have?

Welcome. Sounds like you have a very challenging climate. What's the average low temperatures in winter? I have some tender plants and keep in a polytunnel outside which has a small electric heater in it.

Musa basjoo pups

The pups are hard to get through winter even with straw. I just wait until late autumn before hard frost's arrive and cut down as close to the main stem as possible and pot on in a good free draining multi purpose and keep frost free.

Sunday morning rain was great but the ground is still bone dry.
I did a bit of planting on Sunday and was staggered how dry the soil was after what seemed like a lot of rain.

Trouble with account

Aiden came to my rescue via Facebook and reset my account password for me which enabled me to log back in again.

I'm no expert but hopefully you won't have caused any or much damage. We all make mistakes now and then it's part and parcel of gardening. Let us know how things get on.

Wilko Lawn feed

The link you have put says it's got a weed and moss killing element. If it's not too late it's be skimming the areas where you've scattered it ASAP. I suspect it might kill or harm your plants.

Plenty of rain for most today. Warm weather coming back next week though.
