Re: Guerrilla gardening

Re: Hi from Wild Wet Wiltshire
i like kalanchoes but the cat loves to test new plants here by having a chomp on them so unfortunately, like cycads etc,i cannot really afford to try them. caring is easy tho,as this you tube vid suggests, they tolerate dry air so good for indoors icon_thumleft http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzQAhT26pAo

Re: Red cordy, sawn, snapped, taproot severed - place your b
Place your bets, ive now replanted it as x3 shoots;/one rootball, will it survive?! icon_cheers I reckon it'll survive for a bit, then go into slow decline, and be chucked as not worth keeping. im going to agree with you on this one Connie as you are good with trees so why not cabbages too icon_thu...

Re: Serious life threatening storm heading to Philippines.
It's all very sad & I have sympathy for them all , I imagine this thread's been so quite as there's more than enough issue's closer to home to be dealt with although not all of them disaster's on this scale. karl. id have thought more likely because it is in weather and climatology and the fact...

Re: What to do with my tree ferns.
when i do mine now i screw up some fronds and stuff them into the middle then tie a bit of fleece over the top to keep them in there.they look like cooks caps but it does the job with hardly any artificial protection. i think you will get a surprise when you dig them up,the rootball wont come to muc...
