Cerifera planted out, the blue colouration is outstanding
Heres how its looking after 38.5mm of rain in a week, I worried it would wash all the blue off, as its just a coating right? but its looking bluer than ever, such a stark contrast against the grass and surrounding trachys, bamboo. Its going to look even better once fresh spears start emerging, as so...

Chamaerops humilis cerifera, looking pretty hardy so far...
Mums garden, exposed as you like, right in the centre of garden, looks a bit out of place in context as its so small, so she may move it, but gone through x2 winters so far and looking pretty good, considering its such a baby  http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c400/pault123/2012canter/20130303_...

Chamaerops Vulcano [yellow] - Early winter casualty :** (
My favourite little chammy the Vulcano with its dense stiff wind resistant leaves, pale white undercoating, and gorgeous compact form, looks yellow at the leaf bases. Early winter casualty or normal icon_scratch     http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c400/pault123/2012canter/20130209_110215.jpg ...

CHAMAEROPS ARBORESCENS
Hey guys,
Thinking of getting a CHAMAEROPS ARBORESCENS, does anyone know the general requirements and hardiness.
And also because it's a single trunk palm, if it dies, will a new one start to come up from ground level like CHAMAEROPS HUMLIS.
