Please tell me, are those Agaves really happy outside all year? How many years have they been out? Do you pop a bonnet on them or dig them up and bring them in? Its just I have a couple my husband hates in the conservatory, he says they bite worse than dogs... if they go out there won't be any comin...

I will give another one a go when I find the right plant locally. E-bay is full of big ones that outgrow thier space indoors. So long as you hack off a chunk with ariel roots, even little ones, you will get a nice looking plant, big leaves on a short stem - like that handsome specimen on display. M...

The bugs that grieve me are definitely airborne, eggs are laid in the plant and hatch in situe. That brug looks so healthy it must be ripe for flowering, I'd be feeding it at least daily and the buds will soon be there. The amount of feed they need seems obscene.
