Thinking of next year.....

Every year I try to add a new plant type to the garden. Started of with palms, then canna, bananas, bamboo, tree fern, colocasia, agave. Thinking of next year, I am thinking of what new plant type to try. Given how the weather has been of late, what would you try growing? icon_scratch

Re: Hosta's effective slug/snail management?

I blues pellet carpet bomb every few weeks, walk around the outer edge of garden, over beds and any damper spots. Just spreading a normal spread, with the main of killing of the total local slug/snail population. Any thing that enters or leaves has to cross the pellet zone.

Re: Don't get excited but.. models change their minds yet ag

All coming to an end this side of the Irish sea late Monday evening. We have had a great run of weather, which we also had in 2012 a week earlyer. Will this year be a repeat of 2012?
