Yucca id please
Thanks. Thats really helpful. Im in the midlands (Northampton area) where it can get pretty cold and, as you can see, its nowhere near a wall so I think I'd better get it up, pot it and bring it indoors for the winter. Thanks again.

Can someone please help me id this yucca bought from an ex-Homebase store in Milton Keynes. I bought it in June and planted it out immediately. It has grown about 100% since then and I love it but don't want to lose it if its tender. My own guess is that its an Elephantipes but we have already had a...

I cannot see anything in it that might have done the damage. I did see a cabbage white butterfly on the leaf yesterday...

The former would make life really easy come the firs...

Introduction plus Canna question
Thanks for the response. I looked at the pictures of C Cleopatra on Google and that would appear to be the one. I might go back to where I saw them and see if I can persuade the guy to let me have a rhizome or two. I put lots of slug pellets under my hostas and for the last few years have been very ...

Introduction plus Canna question
Hi. Ive just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself and ask my first question. Many years ago I owned a few palms and banana trees but, later on, lost the bug for gardening. I have rediscovered it recently and have now set about transforming my garden. I have pulled out everything that di...
