No end in sight for summer looks like after the rain tomorrow we are going to get another blast of heat from Thursday to Friday, temps in SE in the 30's. Slightly cooler over the weekend then back in the oven from Monday

I wouldn't be too hasty in assuming it is the end of the heat, looks like after a slight cooling down we could be getting another reload of the heat from midweek

Cordy that storm was what passed over us in the West Mids, and although I was to lazy to get up and record it at 5am I can testify to its intensity.

The storm started about 4.30 here and still going, although the firecrackers have eased off

Max of 31C today. Looks like the end of the heat wave is in sight with potential thunderstorms middle of next week.

Lets hope we don't have to wait another 7 years for the next heat wave.
