garlic, any tips?
As a garlic lover I try to grow my own. Thing is, the bulbs stay rather tiny. The taste is ok, but I would like to have bigger bulbs. Any tips on how to get the bulbs to grow bigger?

anyone planted out his maurelli ?
Forecasts are looking good, I doubt there will be frost in the garden....
Has anyone planted out the Maurelli yet or is that a dumb idea with the risks of frosty nights in mind?

Winter is mild, but winter 2006/2007 has been milder. Here in jan we had 97mm. But, thats no rain that...

Rather windy I would say... If everything has a purpose on earth, why would nature create such devastating storms? Storms are trashing my garden a couple of times a year. We get the same conditions you have occasionally, which is actually worse to deal with than cold spells I think. Try and protect ...

Re: patio cleaner
Is there a chance that a patio cleaner or similar stuff will affect growth of plants? It is a poison that flows into the ground I believe, or is it safe to use?

Try and take a high bridge or something  I remember the storm of 25 Jan 1990, at the time I worked at the express mail delivery service driving around ...

Re: Then and Now, how your garden has developed
Great thread, beautiful pictures. I envy you guys, being able to keep rather large gardens (by my standards that is) looking so good. I can't imagine the amount of time and effort it takes to make a big garden look so good.
