Thalia dealbata

Hi Kev,

I'm no expert on these but it does look a bit pale What sort of container is it in, I can't quite make it out? Is it in an aquatic pot in a pond or an ordinary square pot out of the water. If the latter has it got holes in. icon_thumright

Just to remind people living in the midlands the above show is on. I went yesterday and had a good day out. Plenty to see and buy, the only disappointment were the show gardens . Still worth a look. icon_thumright I acquired the following all for £4.00 each Echium Wildprettii, Ladybird Poppy, Acanth...

Spanish Moss.

There have been people talking about it on Facebook tropical groups last year. A guy sells it via his Facebook shop. I have bought air plants from him. He's worth supporting as he is a local independent business. I saw an article on some award he won last year. I think he got paralysed from the che...

Feeding

( I don't like to wast money.) However for root growth you need a fertiliser with plenty of phosphorous, always useful when putting out new plants in the garden . This applies to most plants not just palms....

High Nitrogen Feeding

I'm with Grev on this one I would never use high nitrogen on any thing. I the only time I have used high nitrogen was when I was a market gardener and we used to use it on overwintered cabbage etc to green it up a bit and put a spring in its step so to speak. I would not use it in the garden. icon_t...

Hi Dorothy,

When I couldn't find any locally I got some off eBay. Hope that helps. And yes the site is a shadow of its former self.
