Plenty of exotic plants that prosper in the North, it's just that they aren't "tropical" exotics, they're cool temperate exotics from places like Canada :lol:

Two Ospreys reported already in Northumbs a couple of days ago (missed one of them by only munutes :x ) - about a month early. Not a tree fern for me either; but it also isn't a cycad or a palm. I'd go for Cordyline banksii, compare here.
