Has anyone grown this Yucca? I saw it for sale in a local garden centre and it looks lovely. I bit like a young lily plant with purple leaves.

Question, what does a mature specimen look like? Does it grow a trunk?

we bought one of these at trago and it appears to have sailed through winter unmarked so far although it was under a shelter keeping it dry.
need to edit your link kris, the word 'pic' is stopping it working

I wonder if this is one of Sprenger's hybrids - maybe with recurvifolia. I understand that he did a lot of work with aloifolia in the 19th century and the leaves do appear to be far too lax to be pure aloifolia. Whatever it is, it's a superb plant and I must get one.
