bamboo rhizome

i have a Phyllostachys aurea Flavescens Inversa bamboo rhizome, do u think these are any good... shall i just pot up and wait and see...

Parkeey, I am no expert, although all my bamboos are growing well enough. I can see a small culm on there, so there appears to be life in it, plant it up, give some water and wait, you have nothing to lose :D .

pot it up immediately if it stays like that for too long and dries out its dead.

whack it in a pot .... so long as it's not been left to go dry for days, that'll more than likely kick into life no probs ....

We have only just started potting up the various runners / rhizomes etc from a few varieties of Boo's when thinning out earlier this year ..... a good 75% have poked a few culms out already ....

as Trudy says, you got nowt to lose mate :)
