Post by brian227 »

i have a yucca that has been indoors for about 7 years it has never flowered i have just put it outdoors and would like to keep it outside it is 5ft tall.will it survive the frost if i use bubble wrap and would i have to protect it every winter or will it be strong enough to survive the frost by itself?

Depends what type of Yucca it is, some are hardy and some aren't.

A pic will be neccessary to make an ident unless you have a name?

if its too big for indoors, chop it off and bring it back in,elephantipes arent the toughest although some areas get away with it.you can re-root the cut off branches and the cut off stem should re-sprout new branches
