Jon Kelf's garden in Norwich

I have seen Jon Kelf's garden on the Internet and it looks amazing. Has anyone on here seen it in real life?

Do a Google Search and you will find a short clip of the garden. He was a finalist at the Gardener of the year a couple of years back.

Jon Kelf is a member of this forum (JonK) - not sure if he's visited lately?
I've never managed to get to his garden yet as although he opens it most years for a day for the NGS scheme it usually seems to coincide with my being away. I hope to get to see it soon though, as Maxine says, it looks fantastic!

Thanks. I found Jon K was on here in January 2011 but hasn't been back since. His garden is on the front cover of Ian Cooke's book called Exotic Gardening.

I've got a feeling Jon actually won that year didn't he (was it last year?)

Although I have never been able to visit, Jon did send me some pics of his beautiful garden when I was preparing my book and I hope he won't mind me posting them for him.

I saw it this morning and it was looking quite good

Thanks for you comments Maxine, glad you liked it.

I didn't win the Gardeners World competition but won the Daily Mail Best Garden competition both back in 2009. It was a hetic few months with the open day, DM photographers, BBC film crew and local radio interviews but worth it.

As Grub says, unfortunately I've not been well and still not where I want to be health wise. I had to stop doing the open day due to this. :(

Thanks for posting the pics Ian, hope your book is selling well.

Hi Jon, sorry to hear you've not been well. I visited back in August 2009. Did the rounds so to speak. Started out at Amulree, then on to your garden, then on to Will Giles, and finally ended up at Melissa's. Thoroughly enjoyable day icon_thumright I'm sure there was a topic on it, but I can't seem to locate it at the moment.
Best regards
Dave
