Have you noticed though how cheap these have become here in recent years. Now they seem to be selling them everywhere and eBay normally have them at cheap prices. And did I a while back hear someone say they bought one from Tesco. Wouldn't surprise me, they seem to be catching on to everything else.

Yes Cycas revoluta is not an uncommon plant at all anymore, although a really large caudex is still not often seen, and will command a premium price if available...
