I am researching this at the moment as the waterproof fittings are more expensive than the bulbs/tubes. They do up to 6ft 70w daylight tubes, and up to 30w daylight ES an BS fitting bulbs. Then you get into 250w 64k grow bulbs but they enter a new price league.
I was looking HERE but need to cost if fully first. Try a google search of Daylight tubes/bulbs. The fittings are standard, but need to be the waterproof/outdoor type.
Cheers Dave
Found the waterproof fittings, I think they're 5ft tube fittings and pretty reasonably priced for either single or double.
I used it for keeping a small collection of plants going, and some herbs growing over winter.
Trouble is I have a lot more tropical plants this year and there's no way they'll all fit in there!
do you think i can keep a selection of colocasias going in one of these this year?
I'm going to email the site and see if I can get a 5ft daylight bulb to fit.
I got a response to this today:
Further to your recent enquiry, I am able to advise the fitting is 5ft. We are able to supply daylight tubes and these are our code 8843, they are sold in multiples of 5's and cost £4.79 net value each.
I think 50w UFO grow Light is not bad, but if you have large grow room? actually you uses small light. I have large grow room and i am using Bestva 3000W led grow lights. I was search best led grow light and get some high quality lights for my indoor plant. if anytime you start large grow room, defiantly need large lights. For your comfort, I attached 2 blog where they reviewed world top led grow light, you can take idea from these blog.
