Maybe he is going from an open nusery, with all it's overheads, to ebay seller with a much wider customer base, and can be done when time suits. I guess he sold more Montys on line, quicker, than through his nursery. Selling them small, quickly is much cheaper than potting them up and having a retail outlet.

It depends on where the passion is. Growing the plants, or selling them.

At least Amulree are selling Monties now.
And not much more money than Kobas really,although they're such nice plants cost probably doesn't come into it too much to be honest.
Good thing we've got the Hinibas though

Is anyone selling Hinibas? I have never seen mention of it anywhere apart from Lucien and yourself.

No idea Dave.
The first I'd heard of them was from Lucien.I suppose Kobas was the only supplier the same as they were the only supplier for Montbelliardii.But as to its origin,the person to speak to would be David Constantine,but now he's closed shop thats harder than normal.

I think there is a class at my school that involves tissue culture. I won't be able to take it until next year though. There is not one palm or banana in the garden.
