After dithering for months, I've set up a new blog based website which some of you might find interesting. For those of you that don't know, I split my time between homes in the UK and Palm Springs, California where my partner works. Hence http://www.pampas2palms.com - get it? Well actually pampas and palms grow in both UK and USA but it seemed to sound right. The main content will be plants and gardens, certainly some exotic stuff on both sides of the pond, plus a few other things thrown in and no doubt the odd rant.

Do check it out at http://www.pampas2palms.com and add yourself as a follower if you find it interesting.

Like the pics, very colourful, your Cassia by the way is C. Didymobotrya, popular in Madeira and the Canaries.

If you're allowing anon comments, make sure they are set to moderation (you have to accept the posting before it appears), or else you'll end up with loads of spam getting posted.
