My echium which i hope flowers this year! (UPDATE)

I haven't rushed to pot mine up. My plan is to plant out next Spring in the hope that they flower in third year (rather than second) ... AND survive that Winter.

I don't know if self sown (thereafter) they will get to flowering in their second year? Thus only one winter to endure.

I'm very impressed that you've got yours to flower Aaron, I've not managed to get one through winter after years of trying them. I just grow them for the first year foliage now (but I keep hoping)

It was my first time trying with them to mick. Have to wait and see if i can get this one through the winter.
