Hi in the autum i cut my paulownia tree down and a couple of branches fell. In the streem in my garden.i noticed today that one of the branches has buds on it.could this be grown in any way?

We're waiting for you to tell us Daz :lol: , try cutting it into sections and pot them up then stand them in a tray of water to see what happens.

I have heard of Paulownia cuttings taking, but I think they are like Dahlia and have to be taken before the stem becomes pithy in the centre. The stems can sprout using the energy in the pith once cut, but if they don't produce roots it will not survive.

We took out a 1cm branch the other week (growing in the wrong place), and laid it on the ground so act as woodland scatter. The buds have now formed into leaves. Going to leave it where it is, see if we get any signs of roots.
