Well My garden looks crappe for 7-8 months of the year anyway so it should blend in nicely lol.

There are some huge ones in Southampton of all leaf color varieties.
They are perfectly hardy here and stay in leaf till late autumn.
They also in most years produce lovely mauve flowers which have a musty sort of smell.
The one in my garden is pollarded every year mainly because I live on a very windy corner but also to get bigger leaves.
All in all a tree for every exotic garden?
