I don't think there are any nurseries here specialising in broms Sal, he will have to look abroad. I got my Billbergias from Madeira.

Hi, when I was at gardeners world live this year, I saw some Billbergia but I can not remember that species.
I'll keep a look out when browsing the web. :D

Inquiries at a flower show this summer when looking for Ochagavia led to me receiving a business card for Don Billington who specialises in Bromeliads and tropical flowers:

I was told he currently holds the national collection of Broms so he may know where your plant can be obtained. I'm quite impressed with Bilbergia nutans flowering for me now.

I have a B Windii in bud but as with most Billbergias they have a very short flowering time B Pyramidalis Striata 's flowers (and bracts) last about 3 days although they are superb foliage plants.

About 30 km from my place there is a big greenhouse with bromeliads only. My friend went there recently to buy a few tilandsias as a xmas gift. You just look around and say what you want to be cut off from mother plant :)
At the moment I am in Poland on xmas holiday but when I am back in Deutschland I may give them a call and ask about the plant you want...
