Xanthosoma Violaceum

How big do these get is it best to split plant i got it from the international shop late last year ?

Maybe 4 foot plus tall.

They get bigger in hotter climates with leaves about 3 to 4ft long, but we struggle to get them that size without additional heat. As Kris said, about 4 ft tall with leaves up to 2 1/2 feel long. :wink:

Those are picture from last year , I think that is a xanthosama violaceum ,
got them from my local asian shop , so far got 3 different variety of xanthosoma , all coming from the
shop , sold as indian cocoyam .
Overall , I`ve left them in the greenhouse over winter and they all rotten down ,
I`ve asked my shop , when can i buy some more , and actually the season will start at the end of the month .

overall , got a different variety before xmas , but only managed to root 1 out of 4 ,
