My new plants

Post by fern Rob »

icon_thumright I have been to the Gardeners World live today, the big plant sell off saw some good bargains.

New purchases.
The exotics plants

1 C Medullaris
4 Cyathea cooperi
4 Meconopsis
3 Eucalyptus
3 Ensete maurelii
1 lupin to go with the Australian/ New Zealand theme.
1 small xanthorrhoea pressii

The not so exotic plants

Delphiniums
Roses
And some other plants, but they will add some colour to the garden.

Will add some more information about each plant tomorrow and some better pictures of them once they are planted.

Nice haul, Rob icon_thumright and followed up with the usual don't plant them sideways after the lop-sided pics

It was a good haul due to the fact everyone wanted to clear the stands of plants, so some items where relatively cheap.

The Eucalyptus look to be in air pots. Good buy; the pots are worth far more than the plants!

The air pots are great for growing eucalyptus. One of the Eucalyptus I purchased is on the Endanged Species register, I will be doing some more research on that one as I don't want any damage to happen to it.

Nice plants Rob,

Chad, the link has a scripting error when we look at anything in that left side menu...pity. Anyway Ebay sells them 15lt for £5.00.
