According to BBC, summer starts here tomorrow been waiting long enough

Hope you finally share our Summer, Dave. Strange how fickle our weather is. You are about twenty miles east of me yet Summer has been here for some time. North-east wind off the North Sea does you no favours. By contrast the North north-east drift of air tomorrow will be sending the hot air from the NW regions across the eastern side of London and this often gives our highest temperatures outside the 'Spanish plume' effect.

I expect to come close to be the hottest place in the country tomorrow so I'll stick my neck out and post the following five day sunny Summer treat:

The high the BBC gave for today on my above post was out by 3c, it has reached 31c this afternoon.
We are not used to anything like these temperatures here on the coast but apart from the light brown grass and watering twice a day, long may it continue, I have had enough of cool/cold, cloudy windy days this year to complain.

It's too depressing to bother to post just right now - jet stream stuck on us. Cool, wet, windy.........'nuff said. Have a great BBQ everyone else........Even the cat though it was winter and snook off to a dark corner of the house and peed there 'cos he thought it was too cold and wet to go out. Bah humbug. Cat will be dealt with accordingly.............he had his 8th life cancelled today as he ran out in front of us as we came over the cattle grid into our drive - near miss..........bless him.
