its amazing what can happen in a few months. but right now, im thinking im gonna run out of space before the end of the year in my conservatory. The ensette just keeps sprouting leaves one after another, around 2 a week currently. The musa basjoo is also growing quickly now, as are the alocasia, colocasia and several tomato plants.
im loathe to put the ensetter outdoors, it just looks wonderful inside, and one windy day is enough to rip those leaves to shreds. Im just hoping the pot is going to limit its growth past a point.......
Help, i need a bigger conservatory..

theyre purple, and green and yellow.Yorkshire Kris wrote:Your ensete leaves look pink?
funny you should say that though. The peruvian lillies that im growing inside the conservatory are indeed light pink. I took one of the pots into the garden, and the leaves darkened to deep purple quite quickly. Perhaps its the filtering from the polycarbonate roofing.

There's loads of room in there. If you do run out though, chuck the tomatoes outside
Does look a nice area to sit

Yep loads of room there.
Too full is when its full in 3 dimensions, side to side & top to bottom, have to take stuff out to water things.
Wait till the winter and see what can be done.
The pink ensete looks good - whatever it is.
