Is the question about the plant with the largest leaves, which are purple? or the biggest plant that happens to have purple leaves?

Ricinus not hardy I know, but probably one of the easiest plants to grow from seed each year and with big Jungle leaves, Fills a gap in no time

What about Catalpa x erubescens 'Purpurea' like the regular Catalpa it has bigger leaves if hard pruned
