Hardly spent anything on the garden this year as I'm struggling for spare cash and have very little space left. Next year im planning on replacing the decking and getting a couple of loungers for the garden.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

I have brought 42 new plants this year. Not all BIG plants mainly small ones really but its not just about the size its about the building the collection. I lost 26 plants to last winter so needed to re-stock as my collection got very small. My biggest is my new trachycarpus fortueni,

Biggest single purchase this year was a £20 Hydrangea aspera mauvette.

I have bought a lot of smaller plants to go in the ground over the summer though.

My final order this year should come in September or October and that is for 15 Cyclamen tubers. I like them a lot

Its the least I have spent on the garden in years! In fact plants have been very limited, although I suppose I have spent quite a bit on compost, ferts etc, and treated myself to a new BBQ. Saving for some new decking next spring and some comfy seats. icon_cheers

I'm after the biggest trachycarpus I can afford for next year. :ahhh!: I mean one that has people stop in their tracks. Ive got Musa Basjoo reaching 12 ft now but that's not enough. I want a plant that I don't have to cover up. icon_salut

I've made lots of buys this year, loads of small plants, plus 2 big phormiums, a 6 ft bay tree, a 120cm trunk Trachycarpus and a stunning 107cm trunked Chamaerops Arborescens.

Have my eye on a few locally advertised palms too (even though i'm out of space lol).

I have nabbed a few terrific bargain palms this year, but also given away loads of freebies to people too....

But the only major purchase I have made was for this Chamaerops....
