Are you planting them now or waiting?
Around October and il put them in the garden Del. iv got some fencing going up and some decking at the end of this month so I'm waiting until then mate.
Iv got a few other things in mind of getting before then plus another palm tree so il be busy .
Started on the garden yesterday. Putting the fence up and getting ready for the decking. It's not going to leave much room but I'm sure I can fill it.
And a few Lilly's that have opened.
I go on holiday today so we not see it until we are back but it's coming together now.
Can't wait to start putting stuff in it.
Hi all. Just a up date on my garden. Just about done it now and more or less ready to prepare it and plan out what to have and where.
Not much room at all as you can see the greenhouse has taken up a lot of room so the only space I have is down the side of the fence and at the back of the greenhouse which is very shaded , so I'm thinking some small ferns there.
The first photo is before any work started and now as it is.
The black bamboo is at the bottom of the garden and the palm tree in front of the greenhouse.
Wow
It's looking great, have you done the work yourself?
I wouldn't like to guess how much it has cost .Ready for the planting now ...? or will you wait until Spring

Thanks mate.
I got some one in to do it, I'd be doing it up until Xmas if it was me plus I don't think it would look the same lol. I was thinking planting stuff spring time. It's just what to get in, a tree fern is on the cards for sure but just a 4or5ft one and that will be it for the big stuff.
I think I will Rob lol. A tree fern is on the cards for sure, that will be the end of this month. Bananas don't really take my fancy . I was thinking more cannas or gingers my self.
Mmm, red leaved canna with red flowers, think its "Australia". They get quite tall and look a bit like a banana but with flowers!
Aloe vera is a nice shaped plant.
A large flower red dahlia with dark leaves looks good against the spiky things, Bishop of Llandaff.
Astelia looks good in a pot and not so large and ungainly as a phormium.
Succulents in pots are easy and cheap to buy small and grow like mad.
Have fun with lists.........and more lists..............and more ..................!
