I've sown 20 seeds yesterday, hopefully they'll be as good as some on here

A pic of mine at the moment. It's been riddled with caterpillars all winter. Green ones, brown ones and these little beauties that I think maybe from a comma, small tortoiseshell or maybe peacock butterflies? Someone on here might know! icon_thumleft

No signs of flowering yet! :cry:

Look like small tourtoiseshell to me, definitely not comma or peacock. Very strange to see them now though, usually overwinter as adults as you find them hibernating in your house and just waking up in the sun this time of year.

Must be rather out of kilter with the seasons if they've been alive all winter, and usually find them on nettles, so all in all a bit weird!
