Fell to 1.5C this morning, though it wasn't long enough for ground frost, which we avoided - just. However tonight is dead on certainty for air frost in some areas of the north. It may occur here too, but not sure. Either way - first air frost of the season possible... plenty of opportunities for it to do so over the come week too, for this part of the world.

Can't quite see why every Sunday and Monday will be 2°C and 3°C there is no logic it that.
Best regards

Took me by surprise thismorning to see frost on neighbours garage roof!
Temp outside at 6am was 4c.
So will be bringing the tender stuff in shortly although there was no sign of frost anywhere else in the garden or on the car.

Official low of 2.4C in Kensington (Wunderground) last night.
Frost in the very centre of my lawn this morning.
No damage to the tender leaves (brug, tobacco, etc.).

No air frost forecast for the next 2 weeks, but a possible 0 on Tuesday night. I might think of ways of protecting the tenders this coming weekend. Fleecing should be sufficient for that night, but who knows what's to come? For now, I'm going to enjoy the Brugmansia flowers while they last icon_thumleft

I don't want that temp at all even during the depths of winter.

We don't get that sort of temps here in London, not in the inner city anyway, and on the outskirts it's an extremely rare scenario. It's scary to read it happened in Kentucky in the first half of November!

very right its scary. really shouldn't be that cold this early, I am hoping its not a horrible winter. The worst part is that temps are dipping that low but it is projected to be 18.3c on Sunday..never know around here
