yes looks like you're right, not what I thought, but it looks like you're right. I found it on heathland near here, looks like someone might have discarded some flowers

Agree with Salal. It is naturalised (and invasive) in some parts of Britain, the seeds are dispersed by birds so can spread a long way. Heathland is the right habitat, too; like most other Ericaceae, it needs acid soil.
