Same size one i got last year. with 30-40cm's of trunk. Fantastic palm i got last year, and I very much in love with it and really enjoy seeing it in my garden. Just a shame this wind is trying to wreck it but the Trachycarpus is having non of it.kata wrote:How big a Trachi San?
I was down at Nigels last week and also bought a Filifera. This Yucca is quite tender as Yuccas go taking -8C to -10C dry so be careful to keep it dry during the Winter. Regarding the Rostrata again keep it dry until the root system has taken hold. Keep an eye out for any rot forming on the head particularly around the basal area of the leaves. Hope you enjoy your plants for many years to come but remember wet cold can be detrimental to them so protect them if it becomes necessary.
Envy! I think it would be better for Nigel to move to Italy lock, stock and barrel. Preferibly just up the road from me.
