alternative to eucalytus

Hybrid Willow or Hybrid Poplar grow quickly. Not sure what you want it for though, so I am doubting they will be a useful choice. I have Hybrid Poplar ("Robusta" as that is the most upright one I could find) growing here to form a windbreak and I have planted other, more long term, trees in with it - so the Poplar can be felled in, say, 20 years to let the nicer trees then follow on.
