I brought some ensetes back from work, and I think somebody has watered them. They are only some tiddlers but they are being attacked by what I think are greenfly.
Any ideas what to do, they cant come in the house.

Warm soapy water (Fairy Liquid) on a sponge and wipe them off. Then turn over the top level of soil (they can fall into the soil).

Re: ensete green fly attack
The aphids show there is sap rising, so there is growth.
Gave my 'Montbeliardii' a few spoon fulls of water yesterday as the roller is starting to move. Himiba has been in growth for about a month.
I agree with Blairs. If they are small enough turn on their side and wash the aphids off into a sink with the sponge.

Thanks Dave. There only small ones but wanted to keep them.
Re: ensete green fly attack
Just had to clean a load off the dormant grow points of my colocasia corms. I wondered why the growth points had turned a dark green and some tips had blackened. I put them on top of my kitchen cupboard and just forgot about till now.
