Wilko's heads up!

Post by pdid »

As it's that time of year when we buy in supplies for the coming season, Wilko's are currently selling:

7kg of chicken pellets for £4
3.3kg (33% extra free) of fish, blood and bone for £4.10

I also finally managed to get the gloriosa from poundland!

Fish blood and bone is cheaper at Poundland, I think the boxes are 0.9 kg.

I need to get those pellets from Aldi's, there is one not far from me :) Unfortunately no Wilkos.

Thanks for the heads up.

Wilkos deliver for £3.50, probably cheaper than driving and parking.

Just ordered blood, fish and bone from them too, works out at £1 per kg.

They also do mixed hostas at 3 for £2 or 6 for £5. Bit of a gamble on colour but useful if you're still filling in the gaps like me.

Aldi are doing 2 hostas for £1 but having bought some they just seem to be all plain light green.

I think the blood fish and bone in Poundland is J Arthurs brand..... does branding matter on this sort of stuff?

Wilkos chicken manure has always worked for me tho...
