I think you're talking about aralia bipinnata Ken.

what made you go for that aralia?

You certainly have some very interesting plants.

What is the fern in the red pot? Some sort of Blechnum?

Your Daphniphyllum looks very healthy. Mine is slightly smaller and the latest leaves look stunted after the cold spring last year, but I am hoping that it will put on a decent flush of growth this year.

Thanks Adam, yes it's a Blechnum Gibbum.

The Daphniphyllum is in a really sheltered spot and was only planted last year, it's looking like it's going to branch so either it or another plant near it will require moving in the not too distant future
