Has anyone wondered how their garden would look or you want it to look in 10 years time etc  .... Although on a lower scale compared to some other gardens here - this is my own "masterplan" partly inspired by Kris! :P No video, just an image of my garden - overlayed with 70% ish of my planting scheme... plenty more to add - but this is the main bulk for now to get the idea into my own head - and help me lay out the plants in the best way possible. Instead of buying and then figuring out on the spot where to place them, cant deal with that pressure!!! The mule palm is the centre of the show, or attempted it to be. Havent included the many fatsias, musa sikki, black lace, mahonia, two acer palmatums that i have, aswell as other future plants i have in my mind to add more colour....Once i have the main bulk in place - that is when ill venture out into more less hardy exotic plants... p.s the pygmy date palm has remained small - as i dont think that will last :ahhh!: !!! What you think? (NOT TO SCALE, YET!!!!!!) :?

Anyone else close their eyes and view the future garden like me?

Your future garden looks great! icon_thumright

How big will the rill/stream be in reality?

Not too shallow and not even sure if it will contain real water on purpose, only winter it waterlogged around the far part of the blue area....or may shortcut with bluish pebble stones well below the grass level, not too fond of huge bog plants and have to look at safety of my child too in that area, so only winter with lots of rain will water pool under the bridge in the channel I'll make.

Looks great, though I can't quite figure out where the South is... is that morning sun at the back?

Yes the P. roebelenii may need protection.

South facing is left side. Yes morning sun in summer-ish... I foolishly under protected it. Will try harder next winter.

two late Im going to let the garden develop now on its own. I am impatient with plants and like to get established ones if i can, always room in my garden for plants that i like.
