Forum new messages missing

Post by JonC »

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed their posts disappear recently? I am not referring to historical messages, but new ones since Dave and Aidan restored the forum in June. I ask as in June I posted in the 'For Sale' section some water irrigation equipment and the post has since vanished. Just curious as to where it went and wondered if anyone else had experienced similar.

Regards

Jon

It was definitely there when the forum came back up! but HTUK has been behaving very strangely, sometimes it says I don't exist, other times it logs me automatically

I have noticed on some forums the for sale bit only stops up for a short period. I assume because if any one wanted it they would have bought it. As its not like a topic. But I am not sure if that applies here. icon_thumright

Jon C - can't seem to quote your post. The for sale post for irrigation equipment was still there on Friday as its my husband, dogman, you have been talking to about it.

The Buy, Swap, Barter forum has auto pruning set to 1 month. This is due to keeping it tidy, without all the old stuff that may no longer be available.
Best regards
