Hi,
I found this Trachycarpus plant online for sale at £30.00.
Overall it seems tall at 6ft , ie with the fronds but the trunk is short.
The only thing is that I have not really seen many examples of this tree where it has such long fronds and a short trunk but I guess thats ok?

Thanks in advance.

Does this Trachycarpus look like a good deal?
Hi Dee, I have a Trachycarpus that throws up long leaf storks but measuring it from the brickwork behind, that one just pipes it by 3" and don't forget 3" can mean a lot to a guy. Is it from a private seller or a firm? The reason I ask that it could have been forced but somehow it doesn't look like it to me.
If it has been forced the next leaves could be shorter. I would have liked to have seen a bit more trunk personally but if you want a bit of instant height in the garden go for it. 30 squids wont break the bank will it? Good luck

Don't Just sit there, plant something!

Thanks for the reply, I probably like the trunk to be bigger as well (1m this one might take 5yrs to get to that height) so might get one with a bigger trunk rather then long fronds.
