First Youtube video

Post by JonC »

Hi folks,

I decided to do a YouTube video on propagation of Eupatorium Capillifolium 'elegant feather'. After much fannying about with sound clips and deleting most of them as I couldn't stand the sound of my own voice I have finally got a video uploaded. I don't think I'm a natural YouTuber  , but I'll persevere and do a few more once I think of decent topics.

Here's the link.

No where near as good as Kris' vids, but it's a start.

By the way, this is a great plant for planting in and around palms, bamboos, tree ferns and other tropicals as they really fill out spaces and look great.

Nice video Jon. A plant I hardly ever seen grown, but one with a lovely vibrant green colour and elegant form.

Your colourful bedding also looks great.

Thanks Kris.

If you want some of the plants I have loads and can drop them at yours the next time I am in Barnsley. Best to take them in Spring if you are limited for space in the greenhouse over winter. If that's not an issue you can have them now.

Nice vid. Your voice sounds okay to me. Its a very pretty border you have them in, your garden looks very neat and tidy.

That's very kind. Some spring cuttings would be fab. It's a plant I've only seen in Christopher Lloyd's book used in his exotic garden.

Okay, no problem. I have lots on the go and there are plenty for forum growers to go around. I'll ping you in March/April time when I am in the area.

Excellent first youtube video.
Very informative and professional. I liked your Love Lies Bleeding in the background. I grew those as a kid and always loved the texture of them. 👍
