Seed has to be sown fresh; it is fleshy and doesn't 'dry out'.

In the UK if anyone has a stock plant [I don't] seed will be ready in late summer.

I've never seen it for sale in the UK, but I note it is quoted as 'hardy'.

It may be possible to buy it from South Africa in their winter [our summer] when it should be dormant.

I don't know how easy importing from there is though.

Silverhill don't list it; and they are the best source for most South African wild seed.

Didn't the couple that run Silver Hill get killed recently? or am I confusing two South African suppliers?

Sadly yes.

The web site is still active and think their son has taken over.
