This is one of English heritages properties, we visited the house last week and were impressed how it had been preserved.
The gardens are simply stunning...nothing really rare but a fantastic mix of evergreens which were impeccable and a sunken fern area with some great design features, well worth a visit.

It is probably the best preserved and maintained house and gardens of the mid Victorian period; 1860 ish.

Brodsworth is pretty local to me and always enjoy our visits. They have some nice ferns and bamboo.
Not been for a couple of years though, need to pay another visit.
