The big ones look like butias to me. Theres a trachycarpus, some cordulines, possibly a brahea of some sort. Hard to tell from the pic :)

that's a clever bit of detective work, Chalk Brow! That's the one. I must admit though that the picture really doesn't do it ANY justice.

Wow! that is pretty well established and looks like theres some large leaved plants in there too.

I checked the camera position and its coming up as 24 Slade Road, Birmingham. B23 on Google earth
