Alocasia pups/ Trex (Tetrapanax papyrifer) Buying

Post by Sat »

In November when dicsussing Alocasia elephant ears, some people suggested to buy these from Wilkinson shops as pups or something. Can anyone give me ideas what I'm looking for?

Also Looking to buy a Trex plant this year when best to buy and where from?

Does anyone have any trusted palm sellers on ebay?

Wilkinsons sounds like quite a good supplier of exotic plants.

Wilkinsons is very hit and miss  some stores carry things while other don't. I don't recall anyone getting Alocasia pups, we got a Colocasia esculenta that we called mammoth, which was labelled as Alocasia. They were available in 2007 and 2008, but did not appear last year as far as I am aware.
Best regards

I have a couple of Trex pups coming along. If you can wait a few weeks, I'll send you one. I have to send one to eyefi anyway but they're not yet quite ready.
