Nice pics renae, quite a collection, a bit of a Brom-aholic then

I lost mine overwinter, I tried protecting them but last winter was just too long and cold. Must get some more and overwinter in the polytunnel. The ones I had are HERE
Best regards

I haven't taken any pic's for a while, so I 'll take some, not as good looking as yours.

Thats a great collection you have there. What other plants do you grow:?:

Yes It's a terrible addiction  That's not even half of them..I'm saving to build my big shade house..but most will be for ground and mounting on palm's. Dave your guzmania's looked great! and the stripey one is/was Vriesea spendiens or hieroglyphica.. On the top of my wish list.. It's $40 here in a Garden centre!! Havnt found one for ages..
In case you didnt already know.. you never leave Brom's in a tray of water.. as they will rot if not free draining..and they need to be dryer if it's cold. If your ground get's soggy or isnt free draining enough..just place them in ground in their pot's..then whip out when too cold..(sorry if that's a bit obvious).
The different types are sometimes so varied tho, that if you treat them all the same it's disaster.. and pup removal of Vriesea's can be the hardest..
I also grow Orchid's.. Ginger's, succulent's,palms, franjipani's, bamboo and just got my first Heliconia.. I'll post some more pic's soon...
