how many palms do you have
i have just been out and counted i have 5 trackys
11 european fan palms (including my recent bargians from wilkos)
three cornish palms - i did have more but some died
i had a Phoenix canariensis_CIDP but that also died
im going to get a greenhouse like daves for next year and try some more tender palms in that.

do you have a wilkos (its really called wilkinsons) near you as they sell european fan palms and date palms very cheeply. even better if you can get them reduced

The Cornish palms (cordylines) dount count as they're not palms !

HaHaHaHa,that told ya I have got 12 Trackys of differing species,
and I Mediterranean palm, my tallest palm is about 5.5-6ft of trunk, with greenery then it would be nearer 10-11ft and yours

Sago palms (ok not palms)

1 Dioon Edule
1 Cycas Panzhihuensis 7 years old

Nathan, Christ mate, well done for being able to keep that lot going, I know your near the sea, but you must have had some of the cold weather we had over the last two winters, well impressed with your list.

Yeah we did get cold weather here (as well as snow) & I did lose a few palms, but thankfully many survived & some have recovered after being damaged (Rhopalostylis sapida & Phoenix roebelleni for example)...Nick wrote:Nathan, Christ mate, well done for being able to keep that lot going, I know your near the sea, but you must have had some of the cold weather we had over the last two winters, well impressed with your list.
