They are supposed to be hardier than Australis. In habitat, they grow above the snow line on Mount Ruapehu, NZ. They are apparently hard to keep and often die for no apparent reason, but not usually from cold.

I declined the chance to get one at Lower Keneggy during the summer but am kind of wishing I did now. The one in thier garden is a beauty.

Beautiful Cordys but a pig to grow so not worth wasting money on.
Bodster has got lucky with one not far from me but I want to see it get bigger before I try again.
Most indivisas Ive had or seen have been pretty unstable, maybe if you can get one to anchor in then it might have a better chance.

def going to try one in the spring

i planted one under a Dicksonia antarctica thinking the shade would be good for it.that was in spring,its now leaning at 45 degrees or more to get to the light so thats a binner for starters.my bigger one in the pot is staying in the pot as i cant bring myself to kill it planting it out.this one seems to like being under Dicksonia antarctica

Naughty chairs seem to be pretty hardy over much of the UK mo
